We provide subcontract cnc machining services, and have built our business providing exemplary support to our customers. We have no products of our own, instead we focus on the needs or our customers in our capacity as subcontractors. This works in the following way. Our customers provide us with a prototype or a CAD drawing and we produce a small batch for review. Once this is signed off we then tool up to produce the work in volume. We keep our customers in the loop to ensure their subcontract is honoured to the word.

CNC

Computer Numerical Control, refers to a form of machine tool automation where machines follow a precisely programmed set of encoded instructions recorded on some storage meduim, commonly located on the CNC device. This replaces manual working or simpler forms of automation.

The latest breed of CNC systems impliment full workflows, starting with a computer aided design (CAD drawing). The CAD software outputs an instruction file. This is then interpreted by the CNC machine, which responds by following the instructions given. CNC devices are surprisingly sophisticated, and may incorporate many tools that can be swapped subject to the commands in the instruction file. Alternatively many machines may comprise a workflow. This requires that the job be moved from machine to machine until the instructions (and job) have been completed.
